First developed in England during the 19th century, squash is a racket sport played by two or four players in a four-walled court or any closed playing area indoors with a small, hollow rubber ball. The sport was formerly called squash rackets (also spelled as squash raquets), and is considered to be one of the healthiest sports in the world.

The objective of squash is for kinesthetic players to take turns hitting the ball against the front wall, above the tin and below the out line. In order to conquer the game, the player who scores 11 points first wins. Squash is a mentally and physically challenging sport, but equally fulfilling at the same time.
